It's tiiimeee for the second post! How you've been?
In case you were wondering (and I hope you were!) what are the travels that I get to "swag" about in this travelog, I have news for you: today is the day for you to find out which are they. They might not be a lot but they definitely changed me constantly. Because, that's what they do, travels. They add perspective. And there's another thing they do. They make you want more and more. Some of you might already know what I'm talking about. Anyway, putting too much talk at rest, I'll start with my first trip out of the country which was a 3-day-trip to Athens. Yes, waaay too short and don't expect much advice to come from that one because I have none. Moving on, to the series of travels that are really the subject, it started in force.
I say that because I went, for a summer, in the US with the Work & Travel program. I know, I know, the eternal fascination, America, the land of "here everything it's possible", etc, etc. For me, it was definitely a good experience, but I got to work more then travel, so I saw only a few cities. Immediately after followed my Erasmus exchange, in France, specifically Montpellier, which lasted 5 months. If some of you ever went with an Erasmus scholarship, you know that it basically stands for multiculturalism, fun, and not a lot of studying :D OK, the studying part may vary, but it really depends on your purpose there. After this, a few months in dear Bucharest went by swiftly, time in which I joined a student's organization, of which you've possibly heard about.... AIESEC!
I'm generally not a fan of students' organizations, but the really cool thing about this one, which attracted me in particular, was the fact that they make it possible for students to go abroad on exchanges, all over the world with a lot of benefits that otherwise, being on one's own, wouldn't be there. This kind of an opportunity is not to be missed, so I took a two months project in the beautiful capital of Austria, Vienna. And that was the experience that surpassed them all.
The END.
Georgiana
P.S. Just joking of course, this is not where the story ends. This is where it gets better because details are on their way. Hasta luego!

Hello, People!
Dear You,
See you soon,
Georgiana
P.S. Some might have noticed that instead of ~travel log~ I've decided upon a portmanteau. Simply, travelog. Shouldn't be hard to understand and it sure is easier to use! Tschüss!
I've been thinking about making a blog for a while now, but it was always the theme of the blog that I couldn't decide upon. The type of "what-did-I-do-today-in-3000-words-when-I-could-do-it-in-10" kind of blog was out of the question, firstly because I don't believe in sharing useless information, like "this is me in a spa" with complete strangers that shouldn't care for that and secondly, because I wanted to do something useful. So, the idea of a travelog popped into my mind, since, I have discovered recently that whenever I set myself for a new travel, even a short one, my heart falls into her right place, my eyes begin to glow and everything is OK in the world again. Anywho, cheesy phrasing aside, for the past 2 years I have traveled, not a lot, but for long periods of time, and I feel that I should share some of the things I've learned along the way. Don't expect life lessons in form of "advice from your experienced elders" but more youth oriented (since I am a student myself). Yes, I could say students are my target. Be aware :)) I think English will be my language of choice, since half of my friends are not Romanian, but French or Spanish might occur also, who knows how adventurous I might feel, it's a travelog after all!
See you soon,
Georgiana
